She has been the HECS pre-k teacher since 2016. she loves her students and is passionate about teaching her young students Chinese through games and group interaction every Sunday. In her freetime, she enjoys travelling, managing her own insurance brokerage, and spends time spoiling her two bunnies, Mochi and Crumbles.”
I’m Ms. Stefanie from Taiwan. I came to Houston for my Master’s in Education.
I’ve been teaching young children for 11 years and working with Houston Evergreen Chinese School since 2014. In the US, I teach Mandarin and cultural lessons at all levels. I have brought up my class at HECS from Pre-K and love being part of my students’ learning and developmental process.
To meet with each individual’s diverse learning needs, I design and implement customized lesson plans, including games, whole class/small group in-class activities, and interaction between both teacher-students and peer learning. More importantly, I guide kids at all ages to develop manners, personality, discipline that helps them cope with difficulties in life with a healthy positive mindset. For family involvement, I provide assistance and support to parents on kids’ learning at home. Since 2015 I’ve also been devoted to E-learning methods and materials that fit with kids’ group learning in class and self-learning at home. I’m proud of all my kids, and they ROCK!
